Wisteria Room
Library (approx. 31㎡)
A calm, comfortable library room to read, relax and browse in, with wisteria branches on view through the window. Notice the panes of cut glass, coffered wood ceiling and stained glass at the windows. Such features reflect the newest design trends in late 19th century Japan. This inviting room retains the sense of that time.
Bamboo Room
Meeting Room (approx. 34㎡)
A vaulted ceiling of arched bamboo and massive wood beams, along with rare, authentic polished clay walls, are this room’s impressive craftsman’s features. A memorable location for meetings, small ceremonies, culturally-oriented lessons and many other uses.
Silk Room
Event Space (approx. 44㎡)
Silk coarse-weave fabric on the walls and ample use of polished cedar from Kyoto’s Kitayama woods grace this room, setting off the dark, rough-hewn wood beam rafters overhead. This room makes a charming venue for exhibitions, cultural events, professional seminars, workshops and other gatherings.
Banquet Room
Banquet Room / Event Hall (approx. 99㎡)
An architectural marvel, this large, pillarless space features three floor-to-ceiling glass walls looking onto the surrounding garden. The garden’s design represents the natural scenery around Kyoto, its forests, mountains and rivers, and also a traditional small tsuboniwa home garden. Equipped with a stage, this large room is well-suited for banquets, receptions, cultural presentations, annual meetings and many other purposes.
